OE Methods’ Lean Six Sigma Belt training is an internationally-recognised certification program. This rigorous training and certification gives you all the tools and skills you need to solve challenging performance problems.

This program prepares you to solve a wide variety of difficult problems across a wide spectrum of industries, drawing on both quantitative and qualitative methods. Practical exercises are incorporated to provide relevant scenarios for participants. During these modules each participant will gain competency in the use of Minitab™ statistical software.

Additionally, this course prepares Black Belts for their role as change agents in leading and coaching Green Belts and other project resources, facilitating and leading projects, supporting broader operational excellence efforts and serving as internal and external consultants.

The duration of this course is spread out over two months in two four-day sessions, allowing time to immediately apply the learning from the first session to initiate the Black Belt projects.

Prior completion of Lean Six Sigma Green Belt either with or without certification is a prerequisite requirement for entry into the program.



Black Belt Practitioner Certification is provided through our partnership with the Australian Society for Quality (RTO ID 22526). Certification is awarded to participants who successfully complete:

  3. Two workplace improvement projects


The workplace improvement project that can demonstrate application of appropriate tools at Black Belt level, and has achieved business benefits.
